Throughout our history, TasteTech has always prioritised food safety management, aiming for and achieving the highest possible standards. This includes maintaining impeccable hygiene practices, regularly updating the Food Safety Management Plan, and investing in regular staff training.
Our Food Safety & Quality Management Systems are fundamental to our standards at TasteTech. Both work hand-in-hand to ensure all food safety, legality and quality aspects are considered throughout our end-to-end operation and supply chain. All of our efforts are evaluated in a comprehensive schedule of internal and external audits.

Our Food Safety Plan is more than just empty policies. It is the heartbeat of our commitment to excellence.
We encourage a culture of being ‘audit ready’ at all times. This includes always having evidence of our efforts readily available and well-organised. We’re proud of our consistent excellent results in third party audits, such as AA in our BRCGS Food Safety V9 certification.
- ISO 14001 certificate 2026-2027
- BRCGS food certificate 2025
- Kosher site certificate 2026-2027
- RSPO Certificate 2024-2029 v2
- The Halal Trust Certificate 2026-2027
We also conduct regular internal audits to ensure on site standards are maintained, trends are identified, and improvements are identified and implemented.
The Quality Management System consists of our food safety policies and procedures including work instructions and SOPs, risk assessments, key policies, environmental monitoring, and corrective and preventative non-conformance procedures.
A multi-disciplinary food safety team – with specific knowledge of our products, processes, and any associated hazards – manages the HACCP Programme at TasteTech. This programme is then applied through our entire supply chain from raw material selection right through to dispatching the final product to the customer. An extensive pre-requisite programme manages general site-wide hazards, such as hygiene.
Always Improving
To empower the team and further improve the food safety culture here at TasteTech, all departments receive regular training and refreshers in key areas. Our training schedule, materials and competency checks support our ongoing aim to excel in our food safety standards. Continual feedback from colleagues is always welcomed and encouraged, either formally or anonymously.
Our Senior Management Team are committed to supporting TasteTech in achieving these high standards. Time, resources, and dedication are given to all teams to allow for improvements to be made and success to be celebrated.
